Food Service for Eligible Students- Spring Break

In addition to regular meals being provided on April 8th and 9th, the district's food service vendor, Mascio's, will be providing meals for the duration of spring break to all students who qualify as free and reduced. 

On Monday, April 20th, the district will return to daily food service between 9:00-11:00 AM.

School Closure- Board of Education Office Hours

The Lyndhurst School District's central/board of education office will not be open to the public, except for emergency situations, based on social distancing guidelines that the district will be following.  Essential employees will be present in the board of education office and available.The preferred method is to reach out to us at 201-438-5683, or e-mail us at boardoffice@lyndhurst.k12.nj.us for general questions from now until March 27th.  We will be sending out updates about this evolving situation as we get them. 

Additionally, please note that our school buildings will be completely closed to the public, as per recommendation.

2nd REVISED- School Breakfast and Lunch for Eligible Students (Free/Reduced)

During the upcoming closure, the Lyndhurst School District has coordinated a plan with its food service provider, Mascio’s, offering cold Grab and Go” meals to eligible students (free/reduced).  

These meals can be picked up outside the high school cafeteria entrance, behind the bleachers closest to the high school. The HS parking lot will be open on Fern Avenue.  Pick up time for breakfast and lunch will be between 9:00-11:00 AM.


2┬║ REVISADO- Desayuno y almuerzo escolar para estudiantes elegibles (Gratis / Reducido)
Durante el próximo cierre, el Distrito Escolar de Lyndhurst ha coordinado un plan con su proveedor de servicios de alimentos, Mascio, que ofrece comidas frías "Grab and Go" a estudiantes elegibles (gratis / reducido).

Estas comidas se pueden recoger afuera de la entrada de la cafetería de la escuela secundaria, detrás de las gradas más cercanas a la escuela secundaria. El estacionamiento de HS estará abierto en Fern Avenue. La hora de recogida para el desayuno y el almuerzo será entre las 9: 00-11: 00 a.m.

Congratulations District Choir & Chorale NJSMA Region I Members!

Congratulations to District Choir & Chorale members!

The following members auditioned and were accepted into the NJSMA Region I Treble Choir: Lily Anderson (Roosevelt School, 8th Grade), Nancy Attia (Jefferson School, 7th Grade) & Gianna Scardino (Roosevelt School, 7th Grade)

The following members auditioned and were accepted into the NJSMA Region I Mixed Choir: Angelina Brennen (Jefferson School, 7th Grade), Simone Kaden (Roosevelt School, 7th Grade) Jake Kuenzle (Roosevelt School, 8th Grade) & Rayan Yamout (Lincoln School, 7th Grade)

They will perform at Kittatinny Regional High School in Newton, NJ, on Sunday, March 15, 2020, at 3:00 PM.
